You're here for a reason.
Something isn't working.

Here’s what people told us, before they became CPG GAPS clients…

Responsibility Objections:

``This sounds like a duplicate service I'm already paying for.``

Yes, you may be paying for it, but where are the results? CPG GAPS is not a duplicate service, we’re the missing piece to your sales growth. Closing gaps is all we do.

``I have a broker. They're supposed to be closing gaps...aren't they?``

Sorry, it’s not their area of expertise nor focus. Brokers may excel at getting listings, but not at closing distribution gaps, SKU gaps nor execution gaps in every store. So, no they aren’t.

``My distributor told me they take care of that.``

Distributors fundamentally process orders, track inventory, move product to warehouses and stores, but they don’t effectively track or close gaps at store level. Every service provider claims they provide multiple service that dovetail off of their primary, but it’s a bundled solution that is not effective.

“We have an inside sales team.”

Inside sales teams can’t cover 100% of stores consistently. CPG GAPS scales efficiently nationwide, lowering cost per engagement with measurable results. We also cut down on emails directed to store managers by consolidating communication, offers and incentives to order from multiple brands. Individual brands are contributing to their inbox hell.

“I already pay a merchandising company to do this.”

Merchandisers only visit a fraction of stores in a chain, and are directed to the stores where you’re already listed or in planogram to perform an audit, re-stock shelves, merchandise your product on shelves, set up a secondary display, check price tags, promo tags, remove short-dated and damaged products, etc. They provide a valuable service, but closing gaps is not one of them.

``We have a part-time / summer student...``

OK, everyone needs to start somewhere and we respect giving students and recent grads an opportunity, but unless they’re trained and prepared to have a business conversation with a store manager about margin, SRP, dollar opportunity (units/store/week), sales history in banner etc., we’re not sure this will generate the results you’re hoping for. There’s also the issue of focused energy over time. The conversion cycle can be months, with multiple engagements. By the time summer is over, your resource may be gone, and the gaps not closed.

Financial Objections:

“We've already paid large listing fees, why pay more?”

Listing fees are sunk costs and are not a guarantee of distribution. If gaps aren’t closed, you’re not capturing ROI. CPG GAPS maximizes those fees by turning authorization into real sales.

“This looks like another cost layered on.”

CPG GAPS is a flat monthly fee that is less expensive per store engagement than brokers, distributors, merchandisers, or inside sales — and we deliver a measurable ROI.

“Our budget is tight this year.”

Closing gaps funds itself. A single SKU added in one store often pays for the program across dozens of stores within weeks.

Platform, Data & Insights Objections:

“We already have a CRM.”

CRMs store data; they don’t act on it. We’re not tech platform. CPG GAPS closes the action gap — converting idle data and insights into store-level orders and retail sales.

“We already know where our distribution gaps are.”

That’s great. But, knowledge alone is not power. Knowledge + Focused Action towards a singular goal is power. CPG GAPS is the “focused action” in this equation. We’re focused on closing your gaps. Your other partners are either unfocused in their action, not taking action at all, or have a different goal than yours. Or they’re working on a different client’s goal… Free them up to focus on the 1 thing THEY each do well.
